1. We practice rites and rituals to attune ourselves with the natural rhythm of all life forces marked by the phases of the Moon, the Seasonal Quarters, Cross Quarters, and the Elemental Spirits that are natural and supernatural. We interact with the natural energies of the universe, with hopes of a positive outcome for society, ourselves, our circle, coven, group, or grove. Our Law is governed by The 42 Principles of The Great Goddess Ma’at .
2. We recognize that our intelligence gives us a responsibility towards our environment and all living beings. We seek to live in harmony with Nature, in ecological balance offering fulfillment to life and consciousness within a spiritual concept.
3. We acknowledge a depth of power far greater than is believed to the average person. Because it is far greater than ordinary it is sometimes called "supernatural", but we see it as lying within that which is naturally potential to sentient beings containing the Ankh of the soul. It shall be our goal to perfect our abilities, powers, or talents that reside within each of us according to the gifts we possess.
4. We acknowledge the Creative Powers in the universe as manifesting through polarity of masculine and feminine, life, death, and rebirth. This same Creative Power is contained in all people which we refer to as Heka.
5. We value the greatness of life. All life is sacred and has the right to determine its own path. As the first of all people, we of kemet acknowledge; as the Creative Gods and Goddesses have seen wisdom in giving sentience to all things, it is our task to honor and assist in their evolution in a positive and productive manner. We do not believe in the murder of innocents as all life is sacred, unless bringing about this new life would cause death or harm to the life giver. A woman’s body is her own and to do as she will, but the new life that is innocent belongs to the god and goddess and is a gift unto humanity for all to hold sacred and protect until such time it can protect itself.
6. We recognize both outer and inner, physical and psychological, worlds -- sometimes known as the Spiritual World, the Collective Unconscious, Inner Planes, The Nu, etc. -- and we see in the interaction of these dimensions the basis for paranormal phenomena and magical exercises. We do not place neither dimension above the other, seeing both as necessary for our fulfillment of the magical practices which are life.
7. We honor those who teach and live a spiritual life, respect those who share their greater knowledge and wisdom, and acknowledge those who have courageously given of themselves in leadership for the betterment of humanity for as long as they are just. Our honor and life is pledged to the Old Ones, both Gods and Goddesses, to the Coven, Group, or Circle which we have united. We shall stand as one family under the greatness of the creator and never falter, holding our circle, grove, or coven above all others. We follow only the laws of man and nation, where they do not conflict with the greater laws of the gods and goddess and the creative forces of the universe.
8. We see our religion, magic and wisdom-in-living as being united in the way one views the world and lives within it – a world view and philosophy of life which is identified as witchcraft, or Paganism. We see this as a way of life and practices that brings us closer to that which is the Nu, the Old Ways , Creation, and ultimately the Field of Reeds, our Afterlife.
9. Calling one "Witch" does not make a Witch -- but neither does heredity itself, nor the collecting of titles, degrees and initiations. A Witch or practitioner is taught by another practitioner who has already walked the path of enlightenment and gained knowledge of such and only then gains their status and power through their works with coven and deities.
10. We believe in the affirmation and fulfillment of life in a continuation of evolutionary development of consciousness toward the spiritual realms, which gives meaning to the Universe we know, and our personal and spiritual role within it.
11. Our only animosity towards Christianity, or toward any other religion or philosophy of life, is to the extent that its institutions have claimed to be "the only way," and have sought to deny freedom to others and to suppress other ways of religious practice and belief. We of Kemet love all our children, no matter what path they have chose to return to the NU. Was not Moses of Kemet? We must respect all paths of religion and hold them sacred as to the individual deity or priest, priestess, or reverend for as long as mutual respect is given. Our greatest loyalty shall be given to our coven, circle, or guild.
12. We do not accept the concept of absolute evil, nor do we worship any entity known as "Satan" or "the Devil", as defined by Christian tradition. We do not seek power through the suffering of others, nor do we accept that personal benefit can be derived only by denial to another. We acknowledge the force of Good and evil resides in all things and therefore one is as important as the other , being both conceptual and subjective terms.
13. We believe that we should seek within Nature that which is contributory to our health and well-being and honor the wisdom of the elders. We further acknowledge, Elders are creatures of wisdom and not age restrictive, while they commune with the spirit, we shall keep them safe and well from all harm.
